We have Office 2007 Home and Student Edition. We also have office XP pro on a differnt computer that will be rtired. I would like to know if I can add just the Outlook XP (2002) piece to a computer with office 2007 and if Outlook XP be compatible with the rest of office 2007?

Is the new computer running Vista? If so, no, you can't use Outlook 2002 on it. Use Windows Live Mail instead. Otherwise, you could use mixed versions of outlook and office. Word will not work as the email editor and some other features won't work, but it will be usable.
