Unanswered BDBB Add-In does not recognize USB external drive as NTFS

    I installed the BDBB Add-In on WHS.  Attached a 1GB USB external drive that was formatted as NTFS on my Windows 7 laptop.  When attempting to save the backup file to the external drive, I get a message "The selected drive does not appear to be formatted with NTFS". 

    Any suggestions?

    The solution was to reboot the server, after which WHS recognized the USB external drive as a NTFS drive and the backup proceeded normally.

     

    Should have done that first - sorry for the post.
