after working more than a week with the whs i found an issue where i don't know how to solve this one.
On all my clients it's the same.
If you open a shared folder after a period of time with no access to the server, it takes more than 30 seconds until you can see the content of the folder. I checked the power-settings on the server, the powerscheme is set to "Allways on" and the "Turn off harddisk" ist set to "Never". Hibernate is also deactivated.
It seems that the server goes to a sleep modus when there's no action on it.
But i didn't find other settings else then the mentioned.
So, is there anybody who have the same behaviour with his WHS?
My hardware is a Asus Barebone Punbdit P1-AH1 with an Athlon64 3500+.

Not enough info.
1. It may be BIOS power management. See your BIOS.
2. Driver Cool&Quite (for AMD64)
3. My computer - right button - manage - device manager - network adapter - "name"- right button - power manegment - allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
4. Network connection - dubble click - your connection - propeties -general

File and printer sharing for MS network
Network load balancing - uninstall it
Try to install - services - QoS packet shelduer.
