-trace permission trouble
- I'm currently trying to do a mpiexec -trace MPIApp.exe but I am getting the error.
Aborting: failed to start tracing on ...
Error (5) Access is denied.
I know the problem is that I don't have access to the cluster, and the cluster administrator does not want to give me access to use cluster manager, but he asked me to post here if there was a way around it. Can he give me the capabilities of using -trace without giving me access to the cluster manager? Can we setup a certain job template that I can use the -trace function?
Any help is appreciated,

- Hi AJ,
ask your cluster administrator to add you to the Performance Log Users group on all nodes.
