16 noiembrie 2007 00:07Hi,
I still haven't used SDK for OCS.
I would like to know if is possible to use sdk for develop an application for permit comunications between ocs 2007 and VC H.323, like gateway SIP/H.323.
Some one have suggestion fro this problem?

I did not use and SDK but i bought two products from Codian (now Tandberg). One is an IP-IP Gateway that converts MS SIP to H.323 and the other is a conferecing bridge (52 ports of transcoded conferecing). With these two boxes I can dial (alias of h.323 device on a gatekeeper controlled h.323 network) from communicator and likewise i can setup GW rules that give an ocs client an alias on the H.323 network. Not cheap but it works well.

thank you so much for your suggest.
Could you indicate to me the product that are using (IP GW and Conference Bridge)?
Do you know if I can find documentation about this architecture (white paper, datasheet, ecc...)? On codian website there aren't documentation about intrgration with OCS.

I am sorry about the delay in posting the response.
I have the 3520 IPIP Gateway for connecting a H.323 Gatekeeper to the OCS SIP world and I use the 4505 (HD bridge) and the 4220 (SD Bridge) to allow multipoint directly to/from the bridges to OCS SIP world.
I have a load balancer (F5) so some custom irules had to be created since the Codian (now tandberg) does not support TLS SIP.
Works good so far. There are some bugs though. Some of the bridges still need code to support DTMF tones (coming in next release any day) and bandwidth limit so systems to don try to connect at 2 and 4 meg line rates.
If you have questions - drop me a line directly
