Database Access CRM2011 via an External Source for Migration
-
11 decembrie 2011 06:07So I am moving from Salesforce to CRM 2011 (Cloud) I am looking at using Centerprise data migration software but while I can use that to log into salesforce loging into CRM with my login details causes an "authentication error", I am the admin of CRM so was sure this would be smooth on those credidentials. Does anyone know if there is a seperate setting that you have to enable this third party access or is this somethign that has to be enabled by Microsoft?

Check out the video: http://www.starfishetl.com/crm-migration/salesforce-to-microsoft-crm. It supports Live and AD logins, so you shouldn't have a problem with authentication.

If you have licensed SQL Server, I would recommend to check COZYROC SSIS+ library. This is an extension library for Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and it does include both Salesforce and Dynamics CRM adapters. All three Dynamics CRM deployment types are supported : Premise, Live and Hosted.SSIS Tasks Components Scripts Services | http://www.cozyroc.com/
