    i have created one new field ,field type is date.

    when we creat new lead and then we convert lead into opportunity then created lead date comes into opportunity form which i have created one new field,this field type as date type.

    To edit the mappings between Lead and Opportunity:

    Settings -> Customizations -> Customize the System

    Entities -> Leads -> 1:N Relationships

    Double click and open opportunity_originating_lead

    Select Mappings from the left navigation, then New, and match up your fields
