One Care Firewall is blocking all webpages

4 ianuarie 2010 16:42I am having issues accessing IE and any other web pages. I am using Windows Vista ~ I have uploaded Windows 8 on an Acer computer with One Care. The error message says firewall is blocking IE. When I try disable the firewall for a temporary period of time, it turns the firewall back on right away and still does not allow me to get IE. I have tried all the steps on Microsoft's web page and nothing is helping. Could it be a virus that is affecting One Care?

6 ianuarie 2010 15:40Moderator The OneCare firewall is not the problem if you still can't browse using IE when you turn off the OneCare firewall.
I suggest that you uninstall IE8 if your problem began when you installed IE8, which will revert IE to the previous installed version. If IE7 works, try updating to IE8 again.
