When the pc restarts after installation I get a window stating that OneCare 2.0 could not finish installing and to restart the pc in order to fix the problem. I tried that several times. I uninstalled it and then tried to install it again but still getting the same message. I am a paid subscriber to OneCare and uninstalled OneCare 1.5. In the end up I reinstalled OneCare 1.5 in order to get some protection. Anyboby else have any problems.

If you would like to try installing the beta again, uninstall One Care, use the uninstall tool - http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/c/b/4cb845e7-1076-437b-852a-7842a8ab13c8/OneCareCleanUp.exe ,then install the beta. If the installation does not complete again, please look for an error code along with the message that the installation could not be completed and post back.

27 iulie 2007 17:29Tried it and still not working. There is no error code displayed, the window just states that Windows LiveOneCare has stopped working and to restart the computer to fix it or use help. Everytime I restarted the computer this window always came up. Thanks anyway. Reinstalled 1.5 so I can have protection.

i was instructed, too, to do all this, and then found myself without the program and protection.
After a week of trying, on my own, I seceeded in downloading the program. Now I have a red ballon when I started my computer...and I too have the message that part of the program couldn't install....so turn off and restart...if doesn't work go to help center.
I have had this problem, plus others, that I am almost thru with the program.......I would like someone that can help and have a trouple free program.
