    Workstation:

    Windows 7 64bit.

    Office Professional 2010 64bit

On working system do you have IE9?

Make sure to add your site as Trusted sites in IE and set the security level to low for the same

    Hello,

We have added it to the trusted sites and have tried messing with the security levels but still have had no luck.

    Thank you for your reply!

    Hi there,

Do you have Microsoft SharePoint Foundation support feature installed for office on that machine?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Yes, I have gone to programs and features Office 2010 and confirmed that it was installed.  I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling just that feature.

    Thank you for your reply!

Make sure to install "Microsoft SharePoint Workspace" feature during office installation

If you already have it, then try installing all features.
