I'm wondering if I missed something.

I'm trying to print from my WPF C# application which is to be deployed to Windows XP desktops.

I'm using Visual Studio 2008 SP1 and .NET Framework 3.5 (or at least I'm trying to)

I've read all the different blogs and posts on how to do it plus a couple of chapters in the Pro WPF in C# 2008 and it says to use the PrintQueue class and the XpsDocumentWriter class.  However I can't find these classes in either the System.Printing package or System.Windows.Xps.Packaging packages respectively.

I noticed that the .NET 3.5 says that those classes are valid for the Windows Vista platform so I looked at .NET 3.0 and it says they're valid for among other platforms the Windows XP Proffesional that I'm using but I still can't find the classes where they should be.

Am I in a black hole of using VS 2008 and XP?

I don't have a choice XP is the platform this has to be delivered on.  Do I need to revert and use VS 2005?

Thanks for any help.  Sorry if this issue has already been brought up I haven't been able to find anything on any forums or other web pages and I've spent most of the day looking.

    Hello groantired,

Thank you for your post!  I would suggest posting your question in one of the (MSDN > Forums Home > Visual Studio > Visual Studio WPF Designer) located here:
    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vswpfdesigner/threads/

    Hope that will help.

    Have a great day!

    Thanks & Regards,
