its been asked before and im going around in circles
- I searched for lost or missing office xp keys as in missing 25 letter codes you enter to activate the product and i found a person on this forum who posted a question about this in 2006. When i bought my computer (aopen pc-1)the office xp came with it and i have yet not been able to get it working..im thinking about writing a book... i had lost the installation cd for a while and i found it again. Now the only problem is finding the code. Ive lost the code....I called 1-800 936-5700 and the 1800-microsoft yesterday and went to different people and got the same basic response when coming to office xp being that its nearly 6-10 years old and the warranty is up. I will pay whatever you need to buy a new code and have looked at other problems with the same thing.I looked at the product activation help page and will call the number now that ive found a way to find the office xp product id and im sure they will say they cant get me another one because its out of waranty. Say i ask them again and nothing...where do i go from here, where can i find a place to sell me a office xp cd key?thanks guys hope you can help...and how much do xp cd keys go for??oh and i forgot heres my product ID not my 25 letter code im looking for 91110409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0050048383C9

If Office XP is installed, search the internet for "Magical Jellybean Keyfinder"---it's s small utility that extracts product keys out of the registry.

sorry for bumping the topic but i just wanted to updat e you all in case you were wondering...i found anohter office xp cd that had the product key and get microsoft word working!

If you want to check to see if you are running genuine Windows or Office, please refer to the link below and run the MGA Diagnostics tool:http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012
You will be prompted to either “Run” or “Save” the tool. Choose to “Run” the tool and follow the on-screen prompts. You will receive an “Internet Explorer-Security Warning” dialog box for the “Windows Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool”; you must choose to “Run” this tool when prompted.
Once you are presented with the Diagnostics tool choose “Continue” to run the diagnostic report. If the “RESOLVE” button is available after running the diagnostics, please click “RESOLVE” to allow the diagnostic tool to attempt a repair.
1. After running the MGA Diagnostic tool, click on the “Windows” tab and then click on “Copy”.
2. Please return to this post and “Paste” the results here for additional review.
