What happened to the "From Web" tab on the "Insert Picture" dialog?

  Unfortunately, at the moment there's no way around this. However, the Live Writer team are more than aware of the problem.

  I inserting images from web manually by these procedure:
  

  • Press Shift + F12 (Show Source code of blog post - Option in Menu -> View -> Source)
  • Into place where i want image paste this code:
    <p><img title="Test Image" height="100" alt="Test Image" src="http://www.test.test/test.jpg" width="100"></p>
    Where replace property src by right URL to your image and others by your needs.
    
  • Then I switch again to View mode by key F11 and on the right edit remainig properties.

  You can copy any image from any browser and paste it into the WYSIWYG editor, this will auto-hotlink the image for you.  This means don't have to mess with any HTML yourself.

  If you paste an image URL into the  Insert Picture dialog, it totally hangs WLW.

  The original post is dated 7 1/2 months ago. Are the developers working on fixing this problem? Is there a scheduled time frame for fixing this?
