How can I change the message content to plain text in the messages table?

  We are currently logging users messages in OCS 2007.  The messages get sent to a SQL server where the Body of the message is in RTF format.  Is there a way to change this to plain text?  I am creating a website for our HR department that pulls user's conversations.  It would make this alot easier if the body was in plain text.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
