    Hi

     

    I have a clean installation of Windows Server Standard Ed 2003 R2  & SP2 and SQL Server 2005 including the SP2 patch. 

     

    I am now trying to install CRM 3.0 and can't get past the following error :

     

    Setup failed to validate specified Reporting Services Report Server http://<server>/ReportServer. Error: Client found response content type of 'text/html; charset=utf-8', but expected 'text/xml'.

     

    Does anyone have any ideas ?

    Try browsing to http://<server>/ReportServer. You should get a basic web page with a pseudo folding, and ending with a line 'Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services....', but I expect you're seeing something different.

     

    If so, Reporting Services is not correctly configured. Use the SQL tool Reporting Services Configuration to resolve this
