    SOS. Please anybody help me.

    During upgrade russian edition of mscrm 3.0 to 4.0

     

    Information from log:

    CRM version is 3.0.5300.0 in menu help->about

    Hi.

     

    The Deployment Table belongs to crm4.0. , is this the first time the installation failed?

    Did the installation rollback? Can you see the MSCRM_CONFIG <CRM 4.0 db>?

    Installation failed several times(later there was errors about privusergroup but we have solved them)

    And it didn't rollback fully.

    Now I can see crm4 dlls in program files,

    There is MSCRM_CONFIG database but its fields are empty now.

     

    Do we need to delete MSCRM_CONFIG DB from SQL Server ?

    Hi.

     

    Because the upgrade failed and did not rollback , it now tries to upgrade from v4.0 to v4.0.

    If that is really the case then your registry and gac are dirty as well, and contains keys / dlls that belong to the upgrade process or v4.0.

     

    You can try to rollback the files your self, but you are probably better of calling ms support before it gets out of hand.

    We have deleted MSCRM_CONFIG Database and then setup was successfully finished.
