bit value to yes & No

  Got a slight problem here..
  
  I have added to my workflow a bit default to yes.
  I already had some data in that workflow & want them to display the 'yes value'
  But there are only showing on a query if i choose does not contain data
  
  Is there any way i can force it to be a yes or no instead of null?
