Genuine or MSDN key?

Recently my Windows Ultimate 64 became not genuine and I found out my key was black listed, presumably an MSDN key. I returned to the seller and he gave me a new key. With this new key Windows passed activation and seems genuine. However, when I look at the sticky post regarding Ebay keys the PID again is in the range of MSDN keys. Can you confirm that I have valid key, or should I ask my mony back?

There is more to buying a genuine licensed copy of Windows that just getting a product key.
If you are a retail customer, you should be buying retail software from a retailer that is known to you and trusted by you, and your full packaged retail Microsoft product should include:
1. The clear plastic rounded corner retail box with pivoting tray.
2. A genuine Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity for the product you are buying, affixed to the boxtop of the retail package.
3. Inside there should be one or more (depending upon the product purchased) genuine Microsoft hologrammed installation discs.

Same thing as me, i bought Windows 7 Ultimate and the seller provided a new key when said it didnt work - i declined the key and went straight down the refund route - when moneys back in account im goin to get it from a reputable source.
Mine was off ebay, and had Ingram Micro on the top on a yellow sticker

I have confirmed the Product key, being used in the Windows that the above Diagnostic Report was generated from, is an MSDN Product Key.
As you know (since you were able to Activate it) the key is not yet Blocked. But I assume it will be blocked shortly.
Would you be able to provide the URL of the Auction that the original Blocked MSDN Key was purchased thru or at least the Seller Account name that the auction was posted under?

Thank you for finding out. I temporarily stay in China where I bought the Windows 7 software through Taobao (www.taobao.com). Taobao is the main place to buy online in China. It’s a bit like eBay, with many independent stores listing their products, but these are not bidding auctions. The prices, in general, are all fixed. It is also more regulated and controled than eBay. When I bought the software the shop confirmed it was genuine, it was a retail box including, in my opinion, all authenticity certificates. The shop´s address is:

The owner is from HongKong but the shop is officially located in Beijing. He is also selling to shops in Europa.
Taobao already has frozen the shop´s account after our and also other people´s complaints. We have started to get our money back, but until now nothing.
I have also bought Windows 7 through another taobao shop for a friend, with exactly the same problem.
