    I recently bought the windows 7 home premium but now (after a few weeks), windows tells me that the version is not legitemate. I re-entered the product key and he gave me following error :
    0xC004C008 and saying that the product key can't be used! what's up with that??? can anyone tell me what to do or who to contact to resolve this problem? thx

    Activate Windows 7 manually:
    1. Click Start, and in the Search box type :  slui.exe 4

    2. Press ENTER on your Keyboard

    3. Select your Country.
    4. Select the Phone Activation option, and hold on for a real person.

    or if that does not work:
    Click Start, type: CMD
    Right click CMD, click ‘Run as administrator’
    At the command prompt, type, regedit
    Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersionsetup/OOBE/mediabootinstall
    changed its value to 0
    Go back to the Command Prompt, type the following:
    slmgr /rearm
    Restart the pc and use the activate windows to re-enter my product key
