Cannot post or reply

  For the past few weeks, I cannot submit a new post or reply to messages.  When in compose mode, the screen splits into two.  The bottom half is mostly blank visually.  I can see the words "Verdana 12px", "Design HTML Preview" and the Post Options panel on the right.  .  That is all.  But the data entry form appears to be there.  If I click around there's some response, but because I can't see what I am clicking I cannot progress much.<p>I am not typing this message after click on a blank area.  I can see what I type, but I don't really know where I am typing them in.
  <p>I thought my IE 7 on Vista was the problem.  So I switched to a Virtual PC on the same physical PC running Windows 2000 and IE 6.  Same problem.
  <p>Is there anything wrong?
