Traitée I messed up my display name, how to recover?

    I wanted my display name associated with another email address.

    Silly me I changed agent86oz to agent86oz1

    I went to add that display name to another live account but I get "This display name is already in use. Please choose another display name"

    Ok so it would not let me so I thought just change it back but with the original live email login I see in the recent activity on my profile.

    "Changed the public display name from agent86oz to agent86oz1"

    I try to change it back and it gives me the same message  "This display name is already in use. Please choose another display name"

    Is there any way of recovering my original display name to the original profile?

    Is there any way of moving a display name from one profile to another? (I think I know this answer unfortunatly)

    The only way out is create new profile and Transfer the data .

    Thanks for the quick response.

    Ok how do you mean create new profile, I thought I was doing that by using another live login account?

    How do you mean transfer data, I am at the moment just wanting to restore my recently changed user display name for the forums here back to the original one, what data would I be wanting to move?

    The link you supplied gave this message "This product requires either a Product ID (PID) or a contract to obtain support." I am not sure how that relates to the forum user name.
