Please place the date of the forum posting in the query results

When the forum is queried for specific words or phrases, the results do not display the date of the original question or discussion --
A result has to be opened to fiind out that the query is 4 years old and is applicable to an entirely different product generation -- putting the date of the post into the query result would let the user make the determination of the applicability of the answer..

All that meta data and they don't even support a timestamp as a search criterion? And what does this mean?<quote>There will be some more meta information which are stored. Check them out for yourself.</quote>How? Where else is it documented?---

I am pretty sure that this request already exists there (fixes for Search functionality). For every expert, there is an equal and opposite expert. - Becker's Law

My blogHere's why this is the answer...
- Your question is that we should have a solution.
- The answer is that it's in the pipeline in some form. It's at least requestsd and logged.
Thanks!

Wonder why my reply was deleted? It was meant to demonstrate that the posting date/time stamp can already be hooked so a query of this sort should be possible.

Thank you Naomi. I think I get it now. I marked a thread elsewhere as spam on eve of 5/21 and my account was banned for an hour or so until it was straighted out. Might have been some shrapnel here.
