    I would like to use Microsoft home server 2011 to remotely share pictures using the Media sharing option and not file sharing. 

    My problem is I store the pictures on a Windows 7 Ultimate computer.  I then can use the Home Server to automatically backup the Windows 7 computer. 

    I would like to have the Home Server 2011 include the shared pictures from the Windows 7 computer as part of the Home server 2011 Media picture sharing.  Can this be done?

    The only way I can see how to do this is to use DFS.  Does Home server 2011 support DFS?

      To share any media through WHS 2011 need to store your media on the server.
