publish button emulation?

  Hello, I got some plugins in wordpress that actually activate themselves when I add a post through the wp post form, but they do not activate when I publish them through WLW, is there antway to emulate the publish post of the wordpress form? or it just can't be done because the plugins are embedded in the wordpress post form itself?
