    I just installed WLW on Windows 7.  Now when I try to insert a picture using the link on the right or the toolbar I only get the option of inserting from my hard drive.  I used to be able to insert either from my computer's drive or I could click another tab that would let me enter an address on the net.  How do I get this back?

    Windows 7 broke this in Writer. The Writer team are aware of it though and looking into it. At the moment I don't think there's anyway of getting it like it used to be when under Windows 7

    As a workaround for the time being, you can right click and copy the image in the browser, and paste directly into the editor.  It will automatically hotlink the image for you.
