    I am trying to use some of the technet virtual labs. I am finding them horribly slow. I am not sure if this is entirely because of the connection method but feel it may help. Wondering if it is possible to connect via the windows RDP as opposed to the web interface?

    No you can't connect to labs via RDP and the web interface is the only connection method available.
