    We are currenlty on CRM 2011 Rollup 7.

    We recently started using Office365 for our email.  I am having an issue configuring the CRM Email Router to use Office365.

    I have retrieved the uri from Office365 and added it to the URL for Exchange Online in the CRM Email Router Configuration Profile and set the  User Type to Administrator and then the username and password is an administrator in Office365.

    But when we test the connection in CRM 2011 Email Router we are getting an
    error:

    Outgoing Status: Failure - An error occurred while checking the connection
    to e-mail server https://podXXXXX.outlook.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx.
    The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

    I have tried various settings but still get the 401 error.

    Don't know what else to try.

    Call support - at 1-877-276-2464 option 4.  From our conversations, the O365 team changed something the weekend of of April 7th and broke the ability for the email router to connect up. Ours was working before then, and broke.  We're still not fixed, but I talked to MS yesterday and _supposedly_ it was fixed, but it's still not working for us.

    I got an update from support that fixed the problem. It will apparently be a part of Rollup 8, but they might be able to give it to you early if you call.

    I will wait for Rollup 8 and then see if it fixes the issue.

    Hi Chris

    I'm having the same issue: untill few weeks ago our Email Router (on a CRM Online) was working ok. Now we have this "401 error".

    Yesterday there was a Microsoft update on our account (we are in EMEA - Italy), but I suppose it didn't regard this issue!!

    Microsoft Support sent me an update patch (CRM2011-Router-KB2702300-ENU-i386) but it seems not to be the right one for the italian language Email Router. Do you know something about?
