office 2010 activation key

08 Ocak 2011 Cumartesi 08:09hi everyone...this question has probably been asked before but i am new to forums...i have office 2010 pro plus on my current pc (this one) but have a new one and want to install the suite on it and start afresh but i am on the 3rd licence for install...if i uninstall the suite on this pc will i then be able to install on the new pc and use the same activation code again or will it be much more complicated than that...any help anyone could be would be great...the new pc has a limited version of office pre-installed already..

You may have a problem :(Office Professional Plus is only available through Volume Licensing channels - if you purchased it retail, then you were sold a counterfeit.My understanding is that your current installs will continue to work, but if for any reason they require re-activation, then it will fail.Dan or Darin will probably be along later to fill in the blanks :)

As Noel posted, there could be a problem with your Office. Could you provide very specific details about your purchase---from whom, how, exactly what materials you received, etc?

has a small business..the packaging is correct and the disc and serial
number are all in the correct place etc etc.he allowed me to install it as
there was 1 pc installation left...the installation went with no problems at
all along with the activation code..as i do not want to get him into any
bother for allowing me to install the last licence i will have to leave it
there as i was not aware that it was only supposed to be for business users
only and apologise for that...sadly i only use publisher and don't need the
whole suite and all of my documents are saved in it...best regards and
thank-you for your attention to try to help..i will not be trying to transfer the applications when changing to my new pc....

I *think* you actually fall within legal usage (by some definitions of legal anyhow <g>) - but I'd check with your FiL that he still holds the license first....again, Dan is better-versed in this than I am.
