IPv6 for Direct access (UAG)

Hi,
I am planning to implement UAG Direct Access which require IPv6. Currently I am running Windows 2008 SP2 server AD integarted DNS with IPv4, can I enable IPv6 on the same server? What impact will it have if any? Can IPv6 and IPv4 co-exist without impacting other critical applications like Exchage 2007.
I would appreciate if anyone could give me some advice on this.
Thank you so much in advance.
