As noted on Microsoft Learning's website, there is no "exact number" of questions. imbart's response is pretty much on target.
I'd strongly recommend reading the exam policies pages on Microsoft Learning's site - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/exam-policies.aspx- 已建议为答案 BArt IT 2009年10月13日 12:10

Agree, but I don't think it is a secret how many quastions we can find.
Also, I checked other exams forum and beta one contains 45 quastions.
As I wrote first note: usually exam's quastions flirt 40-60.

2010年1月27日 21:53I had 65 and just tooks it. The exam was more challenging then i though. After i got done with the questions I though I did a lot worse then what I did do a 622 when i needed 700.

2010年1月28日 5:10I succeeded in earning this certification, in my first try!. I had 65 questions. A lot of deployment, an area that i'm not that good yet, but i was quite good in other areas and passed the exam. I know that the exam questions is a quite random, but i was expecting a lot of question about new Windows 7 features. Tough i passed the exam, i feel frustrated, because i took this test as my personal challenge, for personal reasons, since i don't work in the IT field, tough i'm looking for a job in this area mainly to improve myself, money is a consequence of whatever i achieve in the process. To tell you the truth, i have another goal, unrelated to IT field.
I studied by myself, relied on my "power user" knowledge and troubleshooting skills. I have looked through the server side of things, like Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, WDS, and so on. It helped me a lot.
My next goal is acquire enough knowledge to take the 70-685 test: Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Support Technician. And finally 70-686, Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Administrator. But right now, there's no material to study for both of exams, so i cannot take such risk.
After these, i will try to be employed somewhere that i can gain knowledge on server-side, and finally take the server tests. I will wait for 2008 R2 exams. Until that, i have a lot of skills to develop and improve.
I'll try to make my "certification career" on Windows 7 based systems. I think these OS is the upgrade that the whole IT field was waiting for, and for me, Windows 7 is the best OS ever, period! -

Hello Andre Sato,
I hope you don't mind I need to pick your brain. I've just signed up for a course studying MCDST Exams 70-271 & 70-272. But as you've put everyone is moving forward to Windows 7. So I’m ending the training and I think I’ll start studying the MCST Exam 70-680 for Windows7. I went for a job the other day as a Service Desk Analyst but had no joy as other ppl just had far more experience than me and I need to pass some exams to stand more of a chance. So getting to the point, I like your route. If I train on the 70-680 now and than I need to know if the 70-685 Enterprise Desktop Support Technician exam has been released yet and the training and than the other you mentioned 70-686 Enterprise Desktop Administrator because than like you, I want to get in the IT world and get out my current job. I just need to know, whets out there to learn, and not like the MCSE as this is just far to advance for me at the moment. I already have A+ Compia exams, but these are babies compared to the 70-680 etc. Help me please lol.
Thanks
Chris

Thanks a Lot -
2012年4月2日 19:3780 questions. if you download the microsoft practice exam and know that. you will be fine. few trick quesitons but you can pick the best answer to figure it out.

There are no "trick" questions - Microsoft Learning, which is the division of Microsoft responsible for the examinations have been very successful over the last few years to "cleanse" questions and enhance their readability.
Check out the Microsoft site "Born to Learn" and take a look at 70-680 their, or blog posts by Liberty Munson.

Note that this information is subject to a Non Disclosure Agreement and divulging any information on the exam, including structure and number of questions or subject areas that you were quizzed on is in direct violation of the NDA
I find it disgusting that future and even current MCP's would discuss the information from exams. All you are doing is showing yourself up and undervaluing the qualifications that we all hold. I have worked very hard to earn the certs I have and not one have I done anything that would put the value of them in disrepute.

If you reefer to me, is not a violation say how many questions I get in the test, and if you feel bad sorry for you, because you are not the only person who work hard to get the certifications, every buddy here are for the same route, if you feel under valuate is your problem, I don't, in any moment I disclose any iportant information, structure, or specific questions of the test. And answer a question is not reason to be offended

Actually Ematheu, it is a violation of the NDA to disclose ANY information about the exam, including but not limited to number of questions, type of questions and topics of questions.
If you really think you are in the right here then I strongly suggest that you re-read the NDA next time you take a cert. The scope of the NDA is not something that you can decide on what applies, Microsoft have clearly stated what is and what is not allowed, and you are NOT allowed to discuss anything about the exam

It is a violation to disclose the information you have therefore I have edited your reply to remove it.
