  • Hi,

    I have a problem with Project server 2010 (we have SP1 and October CU)

    When a ressouce manager approves a time sheet I found a Failed and Blocking Correlation in the queue job. If I go to his approval timesheet history I found this message:

    • Timesheet 'My Timesheet', USERX, SEM-4-2012 (1/23/2012 - 1/29/2012): An error occurred while communicating with the server. Check connectivity with your administrator to determine whether further action is necessary.

    The timesheet status is now "ERROR".

    If I hit cancel job in the queue job, the status of the timesheet change for approve!

    The user doesn’t do anything special. We look at the database and don't find something special.

    Any suggestion will be welcome!

  • Looks like a connectuvity issue. Did you try having the user recall and resubmit the timesheet?

  • I will try this next time i had this problem. It's happening a lot of time in a week...

  • When I try to recall the timesheet the small green dot spin and don't end. So the user is not able to recall the timesheet.

    The users are not able to modify a timesheet after they have submitted it. (Like they can do before SP1)

    Any suggestions?

  • Maybe I find something!?

    When the resource manager approves the timesheet and click "ACCEPT". After that the page reload, the task is still there. So they RE-approve the task. After this operation I found something bad in the queue job... (Look at earlier post). In some case it takemore time that it should to perform the job...

    Any suggestion??
