Bloqueada E-mail protection

    I just loaded OneCare on my 3 computers and have noticed that it does not filter spam in e-mail. Am I protected from possible viruses in e-mail?

      One Care does not include spam filtering but you are protected from e-mail viruses since One care scans executables on access.

        Thank you!  Hopefully they will add spam filtering in future editions.

         

        Another question, does OneCare work with the browser Firefox?  I see the phishing filter only works with Explorer 7. I just happen to like Firefox better.

          The phishing filter is an IE option that OneCare requires to be enabled to enhance your protection. If you use Firefox, the IE phishing filter does not apply. OneCare still offers protection for malicious software that may come at you via your browser, but you'll want to look into a phishing filter add-on for Firefox if you desire that functionality.
