Microsoft Internet Security Essentials Problem
-
2011年3月14日 8:53I downloaded Microsoft Internet Security Essentials Trial Version and no longer want to have this on my computer! I would like to uninstall it from my computer but don't know how to do this? I have looked in add and remove programs and can't find any program called Internet Security Essentials. I have gone to the One Care.com site and Microsoft.com no help there. How can I uninstall this from my computer already have a antivirus security program and no longer need the Internet Security Essentials? I jave Microsoft Windows XP. Can someone please help me? I keep getting pop-ups saying I have viruses on my computer with the Internet Security Essentials and keep getting sent to the site to pay 3 different amounts for the program I choose to have this taken off and I don't and won't do this. Is this a virus, scam, and spam program I have installed under false pretenses as it said it was from Microsoft?

First of all, you are off topic for where you posted. This forum is for the former subscription product, Windows Live OneCare.
There is no legitimate security product called Internet Security Essentials. There are many, many scam security programs out there that pretend to be legitimate. You've apparently been duped by one of them.
There is a legitimate program called Microsoft Security Essentials, but there is no trial version. it is a full security product and it is free.
