    I'm having problems with the NNTP Bridge this morning - but only on certain forums.

    .reportabug

    .partnerwinclient7rc

    .w7itproinstall

    .w7itprogeneral

    All keep wanting to 'retrieve' huge numbers of posts, despite having used Catchup (client is Forte Agent)

    Each has a number of posts which don't want to download properly, either as headers, or as bodies - and which I suspect are error messages, rather than real messages.

    Anyone have any idea what's going on?

    I really don't want to have to try and pull down a new archive on these 4 forums, or attempt to pull the newsgroup list down again (it took 20 refreshes last time to get the forums I needed showing!)

    Same problem here. I get the error message below for all groups I try:

    Same here, using Jochen Kalmbachs Community Bridge.

    Access is not possible to Technet and Partner-Forums, but works with MSDN-Forum.

    The programm get's the following error, but I think the important are the first five rows (XFEATURE - command not recognised):

    The problem is, that the MS Web-Service is returning "null" for the method "ForumsService.GetForumMessagesBrief/GetForumMessagesBriefForNNTP", while "ForumsService.GetForumNewsGroup/GetForumNewsGroupByName" still retuns the valie group infos!

    I tested it with several groups, and all returned "null".... can you please fix this?

    Yep - same (but different) behaviour with MSDN for me - I haven't received anything on the MS Bridge at all since I turned on this morning....  05:40 BST

    We have a hotfix right now in process to fix this NNTP Bridge issue. I’ll ping back to this thread when it is completed.

    Yep, working for me too now.... the 4500+ posts in one forum came down to a more manageable 155 immediately - no further action required as it downloaded them happily.

    Yes, as you have already noticed, hotfix was deployed and NNTP Bridge is working fine now.
