    Hi Guys,
     I need to raise an issue / have a discussion around a moderator editing my posts. I do not think they have been edited within the remit of a Moderator, but I am sure that he/she would disagree. The issue that the moderator has revolves around the use of the signature html capability.
     The moderator thinks that my signature is "annoying", but this is the first complaint I have ever had about it. I will grudgingly change the signature if the collective agree that it is "annoying", but I personally do not see the problem!

    My own concern is sigs which include asking the poster to mark this post as an answer.

    I delete THEM.

    I also delete all statements that something is urgent / asap etc. and superfluous !!!! Help!!!! and ????? and !!!??? in Title lines.



    But I can also understand any (hard-working for no money and very little credit) Moderator being extremely annoyed at a sig that says

    "Sorry for the broken layoput.... Moderator dispute :)"

    as in this thread.

    Sorry for the confusion, but the signature that he objected to was the one in the post above and on this one... The "Sorry for the broken layoput.... Moderator dispute :)" comment was added after the moderator deleted the existing signature, which then messed up the layout!

    I too think it is objectionable to use the "mark this post as and answer" and the extra bits in the title, but I can't for the life of me understand the objection to the image below! You yourself have a "large" text signature with lots of links, which is usefull. My signature, although an Image just rotates throug the last 3 posts from my blog...

    I can only assume that Hans objects to the flashing and scrolling.

    (Although he can speak for himself :) )

    You could put all this info (from the three rotating images) into a single text section. It would probably be about as long as mine :)   (which is valid for 95% of my posts as they almost all go to SharePoint forums). I can't see Hans objecting to that.
