2009年1月22日 23:28Hi Chi,
I had Visual Studio 2005 installed on my laptop which wrked fine..But then for VS 2008 I uninstalled 2005 completely and did the instalation of 2008....Then wen I debugged the Web page created using VS 2008 it gave the error 'Child nodes are not allowed ' in the web.config file...
I really dnt knoe wats rong....
This error message usually comes up when you using VS2008 to open VS2005/.NET 2.0/3.0 project. Are you really create a new project from VS2008 directly and get this error? Or you use VS2008 to open VS2005 project?
Another area you may check is, make sure your project is configure to be running in .NET 3.5, check the virtual Directory of your project in IIS,
