how do I delete active sync from vista?

  I have the same trouble!
  
  I have upgraded Xp Pro to Vista business. I can't uninstall active sync 4.5 from vista.

  Is this the programs list on your desktop?
  You should still have Activesync installed on your device.

  Hello. You will have to try and run the Activesync installer/uninstaller (.msi file) in XP compatibility mode. See here:

  Yes, it appeares in the Programs list.

  
  What happens when you try to remove it?
  
  If it will not delete, possibly the link fiat_lux gave might be an option.  I've not experienced the issue and have not tried it but it might work.
