I am trying to connect to my work network through VPN. We use CISCO VPN in our enterprise, We use group user/pass and also individual user and pass. I would like to know what is the best way to connect to the CISCO VPN using windows mobile 6.1

Windows Mobile natively supports PPTP and L2TP/IPSec connections.  Most Cisco installs I've seen support pure IPSec.  There used to be a great program by bluefiresecurity which worked great with pure IPSec connections it seems that the company is no longer around.  Looks like the search is back on for a good IPSec client.

I would love to be able to do this as well... we use a certificate and user/pass based ipsec auth.  If anyone knows of a solution out there I would be very interested in hearing about.

There is a windows mobile version of the cisco anyconnect client.  I have this installed and while I am able to connect to our VPN and browse internal web pages, I am unable to RDP or SSH anywhere.  Is this a problem with the way the VPN works on windows mobile?

Check with your IT department they may have access to RDP and SSH blocked through vpn.  As long as the tunnel is established the device will use it but there may be policies applied on the enpoint to control what gets access across the vpn.
