I have moved to WLW 2009 permanently, and when writing a blog post today to review it. I found a rather critical error.

When I was trying to demo the various borders you can throw on an image I put the same image, several times on my blog. I set the first one to DropShadow, the second to rounded corners, etc....

The last image I set to solid border, 3 pixels. In WLW it looked great. After publishing the only border applied (to all images) was the last one I chose (solid border - 3 pixels). So it appears that WLW isn't able to use multiple borders in the same post.

    Clarence,

How did you insert the image into your blog post? did you insert it once and then copy-pasted it multiple times within your post? Or did you individually insert it multiple times? The former is not a supported scenario (copy pasting images within Writer). You should not see th e problem with the latter. Try inserting the same image indivually multiple time, and it should work. Sorry that yopu had to run into this.

Please let us know if it still doesnt work for you.

Yep, I had copy and pasted it in the same document.

    Odd that doesn't work....

This is because you are copying the HTML, not the image, so really you are picking up the and pasting it, and they are both referencing the same image on disk still at this point. Though, this does leave us open to problems like you mentioned.

    Thank you for the feedback.
