MCPD path regarding .NET 2.0/.NET 3.5

2008年7月15日 上午 11:48Hi
I have MCTS Web Developer (.NET 2.0) and are now reading for MCPD. I just saw that there are certifications on .NET 3.5 as well. If I want a MCPD should I first do the MCPD on .NET 2.0 and then upgrade both my MCTS and MCPD to NET 3.5?
Sorry but Im a bit confused about this.
tnx

MCTS Web yes because you still compile your code to .NET 2.0 and there are many application services like membership and profile provider are all Asp.net 2.0. There is more material to study for the 2.0 exams and the main difference in exam 70-547 is solution based questions with scenarios of how to create solutions to a business problems and deployment.
If you need help for specific study section in the exam outline post again and I can direct you to what you need to know.

That is your choice to take exam 70-547 to get MCPD Web 2.0 or to wait till later this year when MCPD 3.5 exams are available and take the MCPD Asp.net 3.5 exams. The Asp.net 3.5 upgrade from MCPD web exams is Exam 70-567 and it is showing available soon so it is still in development. Check the link below for details about MCPD 3.5 exams and availability.
