I've run into an interesting issue with RCC integration. If a user dials a number in the search box of Office Communicator 2007 R2, the call dials and completes without error. However, if they open up the recent contacts and double click that same number that completed before, the call fails.
This might be due with the fact that the normalization rules configured in the Address Book Service configuration file are not applied to numbers in the Recent Contacts list. The numbers will appear as they were sent during the original inbound call, but if that same string is typed into the Search bar it can be normalized correctly for outbound calling.Jeff Schertz, PointBridge | MVP | MCITP: Enterprise Messaging | MCTS: OCS
That is the interesting part though, the numbers that fail are the previously entered outbound calls. You enter them into the search box and they work, select them in recent contacts and they fail.
