Asking for product key
Asking for product key
- I have Acer laptop, It came with windows vista home premium edition.
my hard drive went bad so it was replaced, person who installed hard drive, had installed windows vista ultimate. it worked good for couple of weeks,
now it is telling me "product key you entered in is invalid for activation" and it is giving me to option to type in new product key.
please advise the solution.

- Contact Acer and order the proper Vista Home Premium disc and reinstall:
Acer Recovery Media Replacement Program
Otherwise, you'll need to purchase a "full license" for Windows Vista Ultimate edition.
