Locked Output port 5004 cannot be read by Windows media player

    When we use conferenceXP to unicast video across machines we notice that RTPSender does the UDP communication on port 5004.

    However when we try to use windows media player to  "open URL" and give 5004 as the port number, the media player is not able to display any video.

    Does anyone know how to make media player to play the video being transmitted by conferenceXP?

      Hi Sainj,

      We aren't sending a video stream that WMP is supposed to accept directly.  We have our own format / viewer for that.  I have no idea what network formats WMP supports.  If you figure it out though, I would be interested in hearing what it takes.
