    We have created web part which runs normally as excepted in 2007. Steps we used to deploy in 2007.

    1. Writing safe control entry in web.config file (located in folder name "80"), using win utility.

    2. Uploading .dwp using Site Setting

    3. Adding webpart using edit page.

     

    Now in case of Project 2010 there is no folder with name "80" but 22634 and 34763 can someone please guide how to select the correct folder form 22634 or 34763.

    Hi Christophe,

    We are using the same method to deploy. But problem lies in selecting web.config folder, if you have access to Project 2010 VPC Beta1 you will find 2 folder 22634 or 34763. How 2 decide which folder to select, I know its 22634 but I have to explain in manual or rather some programatic way to find proper location. As in case of beta 2 image moss.contoso.com contain is project server virtual folder.

    As the installation will be done by novice IIS.
