Is it possible to develope SilverLight with VS2005?

2008年6月11日 下午 04:01Hi
I am wondering if it is possible to develope SilverLight with Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition? Or is there any free version like the Express version of IDE that I can use to develope SilverLight? I do not want to install Visual Studio 2008 at the moment.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Many thanks

Hi Chi,
Yes, you can develop SilverLight project manually
If you want to use VS2005 then you may need to use a special project template, take a look at this post please: http://blogs.sqlxml.org/bryantlikes/archive/2007/05/02/silverlight-hello-world-in-c-from-vs-2005.aspx

Thanks very much for your information, I will try it out at home and see if it works on Silverlight 2.0 as well.
I have another question which is about visual studio, whether I can install VS2005 and VS2008 on the the same computer and on the same OS. I knew it would be good to move to next version of Visual Studio at some point
