The times and quotes were noted to be fixed.  Sometimes they hold off on certain fixes for later releases.  They are having a lot of problems with the update.

Sorry, I don't get to know that much.  It's a pretty big process cause they update all the forums at Microsoft.  The process could go for a week like the last Service Pack they applied.  When they give me more information, I will fill everyone in.

I just got this in e-mail...

    "

    Hello everyone,

Due to complications with Forums dependencies, it has become necessary to delay the long promised Service Pack 4. While the teams are working diligently to resolve the issues, SP4 may not be deployed for a few weeks yet. Among other fixes, this SP will address two issues that many users are encountering, Alerts sign-up page not found and problems signing in. Please see below for instructions to help you work around these in the meantime. The Forums team is sorry for the delay and as always appreciates your patience. As always, please continue to use http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=53&SiteID=1 to report any additional issues.

    Alerts sign-up page not found

Issue: When a user posts with the Alert Me checkbox checked (which is checked by default), they are redirected to the Alerts sign-up page which 404s.

Workaround: uncheck the Alert Me checkbox before posting. If you still wish to receive Alerts on the thread, try using the Alert Me button at the top of the thread instead.

    Problems signing in to Forums

Issue: User clicks Sign In and is redirected to persona.aspx which 404s.

Workaround: there are a couple workarounds to this

    1. Hit your browser’s Back button until you are on the Forums page where you started the sign in process.
    2. Click the Refresh button
    3. You should now see the Welcome message indicating that you are signed in

    -OR-

    1. Delete your cache and cookies
    2. Close/open your browser
    3. Sign-in to Forums as normal. Note that this also should clear any sign-out problems. "

    Hi Joel,

Today the forum problem the worst I see, I face error popup about the the page address been change, that happened every now and then.

Also as well, page did not found issue. I think I made double posts in some topic from that problem.

I clear the cache and everything else, that only solved the login/out problem, but not this one.

    My best.

Will there be any new features, like ignore, and will quoted replies still go out of order, in thread order rather than by time/date?

I noticed a few minutes of downtime but not hours. How do we know when it's done and what's new? *shrug*
