Sent Items Not Syncing
I have a Samsung SCH-i760 on which I have my personal IMAP email configured for access. I have my settings configured such that my Sent Items folder as well as my Inbox are both synchronized so I can see all of my messages and message history and it works very well. The issue is that if I create a new message or respond to an existing message on my device, once sent the response does not go to my Sent Items; the message does get sent, but the Sent Items history seems to simply get dropped. If I create a new message or respond to an existing message through Outlook, etc. the response goes to my Sent Items as it should and later syncs to and shows up on my device. The problem only exists for messages created or responded to on my device. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I might fix it?

- Open Messaging on your device and open your email account. Then click Menu - Tools - Options - Message tab. Check Keep copies of Sent Items in Sent folder.
It's already set exactly as you described.
Have similar issue. TyTnII WM6 using IMAP on VPOP3 enterprise email. The synching works that when you send an email from the laptop the sent item will appear on the sent items on the PDA as they're both looking at the same emails on the server.
BUT sending from the PDA, it sends, appears in sent items for a few seconds (both on the PDA sent items and the laptop running MS Outlook 2003 sent items), then disappears completely, not in deleted items, junk or anywhere at all in fact.
Sending an email to self, this appears in inbox until the next send receive when it disappears along withe the sent item
If synching the sent items is turned off on the PDA (the tool-folder options and untick) the mail sends and stays on the IMAP sent items.
Strangely if t you go back into synch sent items and a send/receive the email will appear without getting deleted, but it's not really practical to be going in ticking and unticking the sent items.
Is this a recognised bug in mobile outlook?
I don't know if it's considered a recognized bug, but based on my research it is a consistent problem that everyone is having. I have begun working around it by BCCing myself on all messages sent from my device. When the BCCed message is delivered I mark it as read and move it to my sent items folder, effectively generating my sent items history. I don't like having to do it this way and I shouldn't have to do it this way, but it does work.
- Anyone come up with a solution for this yet, or confirm it to be a bug? I just got a Treo 800w and in addition to the Exchange 2007 server that I do an Exchange ActiveSync with, I added another Exchange server (Exchange 2003 SP2) that I'm accessing via IMAP4, and this problem is happening for me. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
