How to take off the password if you changed it? RRS feed

  • Ok i have one care on my my wireless router. now i saw a question earlier that dealt with this but i tried that and it didn't work. i guess i must of changed the username and password. But i can't remember what i changed it to. so how do i take off one care if i don't remember my password or username. and i tried resetting it, and it didn't work.

  • If the router is reset properly you will have an unsecured wireless connection and the user name and password on the router set up page will reset to defaults. Check your router documentation for the proper procedure for resetting the router or if you no longer have the documentation you can find this information on the router manufacturer's website.
