Excel Workbook Config Test on HPC Failure to Launch

  I have an HPC 2019 cluster set up with 1 head node and 2 compute nodes. I have installed and activated Excel on each of the compute nodes. I am able to use excel without any issues if I RDP into the compute nodes. However, when I run the Excel Workbook Configuration Test from the HPC Cluster Manager, I see a failure in the last test step "Failure to Launch Application". The exact error that I'm receiving is:

  Assembly Microsoft.Hpc.Excel,Version=6.0.0.0,Culture=neutral,PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35 cannot be loaded
  

  Any tips for how to fix this failure? It is an odd issue for me given that I am able to use Excel on the compute nodes without error.
