Missing doc template for Pro forma invoice in c5 2012

  • when i try to print pro forma invoice to MS word i get this error

    There is document in `` General / Document management / document types /simpleinvoice

    can someone give me hint how to fix it ... it will be great help ...... have nice day

  • thanks for reply thats right i miss pro forma invoice document in document files. fromwhere in kan this file. if you kindly Provider me guideline thatwill be big help.

  • In the above form choose Import, navigate to DocMgmt/Types, select ProformaInvoice.typ.

    By the way  - what version of C5 2012 are you running (SP, HF and kernel revision)?

  • no, there is no  profrominvoice.typ file present in the  /DocMgmt/Types folder

  • But you are running a fairly recent kernel - the profrominvoice.typ was introduced in C5 2012 SP1.
    So what's your application version?
    It can be found in General/Table/System status/Customisation status.

  • So, you are running a C5 2012 SP2 with no HF, but requirement for applying SP2 is SP1, and you are missing files from that update - that is most likely the explanation for your problems.

    I will suggest that you contact your Partner to get Things fixed.
